The one where i want the wardrobe of...

She was best known for her infamous "Claw" on Xfactor.  But, it would now seem those days are behind her.  She is seriously lighting up my fashion radar with the perfect mix of the feminine and quirky.  She popped up on a couple of occasions at London Fashion Week - one to watch!

The one with the new shoes

These bad boys are on their way to me!  I spied them on Topshop.com a while back but they were £95.00, sad face :( Then I got an email saying they were having a sale so thought I would check it out and there they were reduced to £45.00!!  So I enlisted the help of my wonderful mum who has ordered them for me for Christmas.  Not the usual style I go for (usually choosing a chunky court shoe over anything else) but they look fab on and I love the metal-wear on them.  You like?

The one with a change of pace

I have been dying to do this post for weeks now and just haven't gotten round to it.

Being a big fan of the Rodarte girls, i was excited to see their offerings for Spring 2011.  And was pleasantly surprised to see that they have gone down a different road from their usual de-constructed/spiderweb knits/ chiffon look.  I absolutely LOVE it.

Luxurious fabrics, textures, colours.  LOVE the white sheer pop socks and the swept hair.

Possibly my favourite collection of the season.  What do you guys think?

The one where i want to wrap up

Good Afternoon everyone!

Winter is most definitely taking a hold on my area of the british isles and so i thought it most relevant to post about winter coats today.  I am actually sat here wrapped up a fleece throw as i blog, trying to keep all my limbs covered whilst typing is a task i assure you!  Brrrrrrrrrrr.....

There were some beautiful coats showcased on the catwalks of the AW10 shows and here are just some of my favourite looks.

Alexander Wang..Sophia Kokosalaki..Erdem..Haider Ackermann..Giambtista Valli..Chloe
I have had the same Zara military-style, funnel neck coat for at least 3 years now.  I also have a leather biker one, but that isn't one i can dress up.  I think it's time for a new one, here are 4 that i've spied.

The one with the Kurt Geiger shoes

I posted these beauties a post or so ago as part of an outfit (with a beautiful Erdem dress)

Shopping with my dearest mum in Liverpool last Saturday i had the pleasure of seeing them in the flesh.  I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE!  They are gorgeous.  Although my mum commented that i would look "special" (and not in chic way) in them - got to love mum's.

They are out of my price range (isn't everything) priced at £180 - but i am hoping that if i put them on my Christmas and Birthday lists (which is Jan) some kind soul will get the hint...

This website is a godsend!  Although, I'm still trying to navigate myself around it.  It has LOADS of useful information and kind people have already asked to be my friend.  Thanks!

The one with the fashion swap

A couple of weeks ago i went to a Fashion Swap hosted by the gorgeous Louise Redknapp.  I didn't take any photo's whilst at the event, but whilst browsing Facebook i found images uploaded by the organisers.

It was a really good night, although i wasn't pleased with the item i came home with.  But, i was damned if i was going to come home with nothing!  The women there were RUTHLESS, it was like that episode of friends where they go wedding dress shopping...only i wish i had thought of taking a whistle.  I had to laugh though, either that or cry.

Louise had her stylist with her, who was gorgeous but i can't for the life of me remember her name.

Here are the pics.  Note that in both images i appear in i have a cupcake in my hand...SUGAR RUSH!

Alive and Kicking

It would seem that the spirit of Alexander 'Lee' McQueen lives on in the Spring/Summer 2011 collection from the designers house.  Now under the helm of creative director Sarah Burton, she made her debut last night in Paris.  And judging from these images, she has done a pretty good job.

Like many others, i was shocked when i heard the news in February of his passing.  And wondered about the future of the label - it producing the most inspiring shows of each season.  I was pleased to hear that it would carry on in McQueen's absence, however i was dubious as to how good the collections to follow would prove to be.

Well, it looks like we need fear no longer!  The collection had the beauty and vision of one we expect from our beloved McQueen.  I for one am VERY excited to see what's next...
